I'm thrilled to share that Abilities of Northwest Jersey, Inc. has officially affiliated with Allies, Inc., effective July 1, 2017. Our agency is now part of a family of affiliates which will further our mission, assist in the expansion of our services, and most importantly, strengthen our advocacy for those we serve.

Allies is located in Hamilton, and provides exemplary services for individuals with disabilities statewide.  www.alliesnj.org  Since 2012, Allies has been an affiliate of Woods, located in Langhorne, Pa. Woods also has three other affiliate agencies located in NJ and PA. www.woods.org

We recognize the most important aspects of an agency partnership are similar cultures and unison in leadership. You will find Allies to have a passionate, welcoming, family oriented team, starting with their co-founder and CEO, Elise Tretola. We are excited that this partnership will offer resources and efficiencies for our team as we continue to expand on our exceptional supports and services.

Important notes on this partnership:
-          We remain Abilities of Northwest Jersey, Inc., still operating as an independent 501c3 (this is not a merger).
-          Our legal name will not change, however you will see "An Affiliate of Allies" on our marketing materials in the future.
-          Our staff, programs, contracts and services remain unchanged.

This venture has been carefully analyzed and approved by our Board. Recognizing collaboration is the future of services, we are fortunate to have volunteer board members who are proactive and supportive in planning for our future.  We are also grateful for the support of all of our state and local funders.
This is a historic moment in the evolution of Abilities and as such, you may have some questions. Please be sure to contact me directly at (908) 689-1118 or email cwildermuth@abilitiesnw.com.

We look forward to the many opportunities that lie ahead!

Thank you!
Regards,

Cynthia B Wildermuth
Chief Executive Officer

Quilters Welcome

Each Wednesday, a group of quilters gathers at Abilities on Route 31 in Washington to share their passion and help raise necessary funds for Abilities.

The Quilters Guild meets weekly during the year to produce a full/queen size quilt and other quilt items which Abilities raffles off to fund center programs. Interested in joining the group? All quilters welcome -- regardless of experience. Those new to the craft are are also welcome.

The Quilters Quild meets from 10 a.m. each week, weather permitting. If interested in joining the Quilters Quild, email info@abilitiesnw.com
